About The Event
Fazaia Medical College recently organized an enriching Naat, Qirat, and Debate competition as part of its annual Sports Week, bringing together students, faculty, and staff for a day of spiritual reflection, intellectual engagement, and cultural celebration. The event was meticulously organized by the Biochemistry Department under the leadership of Dr. Kirn e Muneera, the Head of Department, and curated by Dr. Humera Usman and Dr. Maleeha Salik. A Spiritual Start: Qirat and Naat Competitions
The event commenced with the Qirat competition, where students recited verses from the Holy Quran. Their
precise and melodious renditions set a reflective and spiritual tone for the day. The audience was deeply
moved by the sincerity and dedication shown by the participants as they beautifully conveyed the message
of the Quran through their voices.
Following the Qirat competition, the Naat contest took center stage.
Students recited praise for the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in deeply emotional and poetic performances.The Naat
competition filled the atmosphere with devotion, and each participant’s heartfelt recitation resonated with
the audience, highlighting their passion and connection to the words they spoke.
A Battle of Ideas: The Debate Competitions
The event’s intellectual segment featured the much-anticipated debate competition, divided into two categories: Urdu and English debates. The topics for both debates sparked engaging discussions and showcased the students' ability to articulate their views on complex issues.

The winners in each category—Qirat, Naat, and both Urdu and English debates—were recognized for their outstanding performances.
