2nd February 2026 marked the beginning of a transformative journey for the 11th batch of 1st year MBBS students. The day was designed to welcome and orient students to medical college life. The session commenced with motivational remarks by the Principal, Maj. Gen (R) Muhammad Tahir Khadim, who also gave an overview of the MBBS program, emphasizing that medicine requires not only knowledge but also the right attitude, ethical values, and social responsibility. Vice Principal Brig (R) M. Mazhar Hussain warmly welcomed the newly inducted first-year MBBS students and wished them success in their academic journey. Clinical Psychologist and Mentoring Expert, Brig (R) Rashid Qayyum, explained the mentoring system and stressed the importance of mental well-being and resilience during medical training. Year Coordinator, Prof. Dr Sadia Moazzam, briefed students about the curriculum model, academic calendar, and assessment system practiced at FMC.
