The 10th White Coat Ceremony for Fazaia Medical College’s first-year MBBS students took place on February 19th, 2025, at Air University’s Main Auditorium in Islamabad. This occasion marked the beginning of an exciting academic journey for these aspiring medical professionals. The ceremony featured a welcome address by Dr. Maj Gen Muhammad Tahir Khadim, Principal of Fazaia Medical College, who emphasized dedication, compassion, and lifelong learning.
Air Marshal Abdul Moeed Khan, Vice Chancellor of Air University who was the chief guest of the ceremony, addressed the attendees, highlighting the importance of empathy, commitment to professionalism, ethical practice, and responsibility in healthcare. Each student received their white coat from the Vice Chancellor, followed by the ceremony of taking Hippocratic Oath.
Motivational speaker Prof. Dr. Mowadat Rana, a renowned Professor of Psychiatry, shared valuable insights into the medical profession. The event concluded with a group photograph, cake cutting by new students with the Vice Chancellor. Refreshments were served which gave time to students for fostering strong bonds with their peers and faculty.
