Community Medicine Department Fazaia Medical College commemorated Cancer Day on 17th February 2025. In collaboration with JHPIEGO, activities were carried out focusing on this year’s theme of “United by Unique”. Revolving specifically around Cervical Cancer, students of 3rd and 4th Year MBBS designed thought provoking and eye catching handmade posters which were then awarded positions as well. Some 4th Year students also made short videos which were appreciated by faculty and guests alike. Most lauded activity of the event however was the role play done by 2nd Year MBBS students, where they courageously touched upon a stigmatized topic in a manner which gave everyone much food for thought. Vice Chancellor Air University Air Marshal Moeed Khan, HI (M) graced the occasion with his presence and not only appreciated the hard work put in by students and department, but also urged them to take the message forward and spread it into the larger community.
